Tri-State’s “cooperative spirit” wins a gold

First Missy Franklin, then the U.S. women’s gymnastics team and now this. Tri-State’s communications department learned recently that the association’s 2011 annual report, titled “The Cooperative Spirit,” won a prestigious gold award from MerComm, Inc.’s ARC program, the world’s largest annual report competition.

The international awards competition is open to corporations, private companies, government agencies, nonprofits and associations. It’s unique in that each annual report is judged against itself, based on its success in communicating its organization’s key messages. Evaluations are based on creativity, clarity, effectiveness and excellence. Judges come from around the globe to participate on the ARC jury panels.
