This past fall, voting members from each district of the National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation (CFC) cast ballots for an open at-large director position on the lending institution’s board of directors. Tri-State senior vice president/chief financial officer Pat Bridges was elected to the position and will begin a three-year term following CFC’s annual meeting in February.
Bridges, who joined Tri-State in 2006, is a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst with 30 years of experience in the electric power industry. He currently chairs the finance subcommittee of the G&T Managers’ Association Technical Advisory Committee and serves as treasurer of the G&T Accounting and Finance Committee.
He holds an M.B.A. degree from West Texas State University and an M.S. degree in applied economics from the University of Texas, Dallas.
CFC is a member-owned, nonprofit cooperative. It was organized in 1969 to raise funds from the capital markets to supplement the loan programs for electric cooperatives offered by the Rural Utilities Service.
