Energy Production Mapped

energy_crestr250A new online resource from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) tracks how energy production has changed, state by state, over the past 20 years. “What is perhaps most compelling about this visualization is the way we see energy production growing in nearly every field over the last two decades,” DOE said. “Between 1993 and 2012 total U.S. energy production has increased from 68 quadrillion Btu to 79 quadrillion Btu, a growth of 11 quadrillion Btu or 16 percent.” Find out more at energy.com.
